Medical Marijuana Groups March on Capital to Defend State Question 788
Oklahoma is rapidly becoming a tour de force of advocates on both sides of the cannabis question: medical vs. recreational, can they coexist in bliss or run amuck?
This week, those concerned about the implementation of State Question 788 appear to be headed for a battle of priorities with those supporting new bills that would open up Oklahoma to adult-use without a medical marijuana recommendation. Indeed, over 30 bills are rumored to be in play this year for OK.
Officials with Viridian Legal Services and the Durbin Law Firm in Tulsa say hundreds of medical marijuana businesses and patients will head to the Capitol to “protect the rights that medical marijuana patients and businesses gained when State Question 788 passed in June of 2018.”
So far, the group says more than 30 bills have been filed that would greatly impact the medical marijuana industry. (KFOR)
